The history of St.James Kigoma Sec. School
On January 1st, 2008, St. James Kigoma sec. School was founded in Kigoma,Tanzania. St. James Sec. School was officially founded by a long time Math teacher Mr. Mvuyekule. previously taking O-level students only.
St. James endowment started with Mr. Mvuyekule initial donation of 400 books and half his estate, but in 2010, Thomas Hollis began the now standard practice of requiring that a donation be used for a specific purpose when he donated money for “a Divinity Professor, to read lectures in the Halls to the students.”
